During your rental, it is your responsibility to care for the item as your own and return it to the Community Lender in the same condition in which it was received. However, we do understand that situations happen (especially with young ones), and so borrowers are also protected through our Oopsie Baby Protection Plan.

Here’s the gist of it:

Broken or Damaged Item

In the event that an item is broken or damaged, you will be charged a small damage fee of $50. Through our Oopsie Baby Protection Plan, Borrow Me Baby will cover any additional costs up to $1,000 CAD. This means that you are fully responsible for damages under $50 CAD and above $1000 CAD.

Lost Item

In the event that an item is lost and cannot be returned back to the Community Lender, you will be charged the reasonable market price based on age, condition, and remaining usable life of the item, up to a maximum of $2000 CAD.

Tips to keeping the items in tip top shape during your rental:

• Avoid smoking (including vapes) near the equipment and any accessories
• Avoid eating or drinking in or around equipment (excluding high chairs, of course)
• Clean any messes immediately to prevent staining
